I just wanted to respond on here. I absolutely love this car. My main issue was with the sound. I use headphones and the included engine noise was extremely loud/harsh. In addition, I had to go kind of section by section, but on the external view, there was a high pitch squeal occurring. I ended up finding that it was the roadnoise33 sample. There must be something in that sound file that as it ramps up goes high pitched, but its high enough pitch, maybe some people can't hear it.

In addition to deleting the sound line that pertains to roadnoise33 in outside view, I also changed the sound settings in the following areas, although sometimes I get a weird high pitched artifact near redline on external view. These sound updates have made my hearing fatigue go away while using the car and I just love to drive it now!

Sound and hdv. fix

Hi there

1) Seven rebalanced engine sound .wav files - this fixes the crackling you hear online.

2) An .sfx file that uses the original internal and external relative volumes, calling the new .wav files when needed, but is otherwise identical to the original mod. This is NFMX5_ORIGINAL_VOLUMES.sfx.

3) An alternate .sfx file that adjusts the relative internal and external volumes to try and address some of the concerns seen in the RaceDepartment comments about volume. This is...

I'll load up the sound fixes this weekend and have a go. I still love this mod Reb! One of the best to constantly drive at 99/100 without weird stuff happening. Handles a lot like my old E-production Spitfire (but faster...LOL). Thanks for the continuing support and update.

Hi - great physics with this car and the body work looks great. Do have one problem though. I was racing against 7 AI cars and when the AI cars were about 100 metres ahead of me their car bodies vanish and all I can see is their wheels still racing ahead of me around the track. Any ideas on what I would need to do or change to put this right?

Edit: And thanks for the mod btw its good fun
