AMS 2 | Dedicated Server Config Files - Config files for starting a basic AMS 2 Dedicated Server

Since people seem to be struggling to get AMS 2 servers up and running, I'm uploading the config files which we use here on RaceDepartment for others to use. I've formatted the main config file to be easier to read and added text descriptions for most of the sections. All can be tweaked and changed to suit your own needs.

Dedicated Server installation instructions can be found on the AMS 2 forums. Add these files after installation, overwriting as necessary.

Hate to ask a possibly dumb question: In the below, how do I find out what the numbers mean in the server.cfg? Likely not looking in the right spot.

// Damage setting. Club default is visual damage only. Other options?
"DamageType" : 2,

// Tyre wear setting. Club default is 1x wear rate. Other options?
"TireWearType" : 6,

// Fuel usage setting. Club default is 1x usage rate. Other options?
"FuelUsageType" : 1,

// Penalties. (0/1) 0 = no, 1 = yes?
"PenaltiesType" : 1,

// Pit line penalty. (0/1) 0 = no, 1 = yes?
"PitWhiteLinePenalty" : 1

// Drive-through penalties. (0/1) 0 = no, 1 = yes?
"DriveThroughPenalty" : 1

// How much penalty time (in seconds) is required to trigger a drive-though penalty.
"AllowablePenaltyTime" : 5

// Race mandatory pit stop. Other options?
"RaceMandatoryPitStops" : 0

// Manual pit stops. (0/1) 0 = no, 1 = yes?
"ManualPitStops" : 1

// Race rolling starts. Other options?
"RaceRollingStart" : 0

// Manual rolling starts. Other options?
"ManualRollingStarts" : 1

// Race formation lap. Only valid if using a rolling start. Other options?
"RaceFormationLap" : 0

I think I understand that the lua_config is an easier way to manage, but you note comment out RACE TWO? Not sure what that means. I have no experience with writing code, but can understand substitution of numbers and words to get the desired response.

Thanks for your time and patience.
