We're giving a Bob's Track Builder course a thorough going over in this event. It's a nice course, 1.25 - 1.45 lap times depending on car choice. Not the widest of tracks, no real run-off areas, so please be careful with your car choices.

And before anyone says anything, No - the name wasn't the reason why I chose this one.

No event on Thursday? Well then I'll give this strangely named circuit a go :) Must be pretty good seen the size. Review in a few moments (or days.... :) )

Update1: File not found... :( (found it :) )
Update2: While waiting to retry the download I noticed there isn't the 'usual' league car restriction. I that case I will be using the following cars:
Cortina/Ferrari (really curious how it drives)/911(though I should try the Beemer sometime)
Update3: Did a few laps on this bumpy circuit. the textures are a bit raw, but that could be due to my settings. Very narrow entry for T1, lot's of camber & bumps in the road and some raw edges make this a difficult track (to me) Lot's of trees out there

As I understand it, yes, it's deliberate.

Mind you, if we find that the BTB tracks don't work well in GTL for any reason, then we could feed that back to the BTB forum. But if they are going to the effort to build these things, the least we can do is try them out.

There will be an event on Thursday, just trying to put it together on the right track(s). It'll be an event we haven't done for a while, a classic Cortina vs Alfa night.

Hi Stuart, sorry I haven't been around much, usual reason:embarrassed:, sign me up for this one, 'Stang, Elan, 911 will be car choices, noticed during testing that some of the tree shadows are a bit much at 17:00 ingame, to the point they obscure the track totally. could we maybe use 13:00 for this as I hate changing settings for just one track, I usually forget to turn them back up, hehe.

... Did anyone find the 'Oval' out there? :) Just follow one of the side roads (pay attention to the 'wrong direction' warning so you don't get DQ'ed) And suddenly you enter an oval with banked curves. Looks nice & drives good but it's a bit too small though (overall length).
On the Oval you also get the 'wrong direction' warning, but it's too short to get you DQ'ed so you can keep driving here.
