Aliasing in Race 07

Hi everybody,

I have a new PC since a few days with a GTX 780.
In recent games, I have no problem with aliasing but in Race07 I have aliasing issues.

Do you have an advice, what do I have to do in the Nvidia control panel?

Do I have to force anti-aliasing via Steam?

Thank you

Do you use such settings in the panel? (found it on the forum)

Ambient occlusion: OFF
AF: 16x
Anti-gamma corrention: Off
Antialiasing - mode: Enhance application setting
Antialiasing - settings: 16x CSAA (game runs under dx9, more stable)
Antialiasing - Transperensy: 4x supersample (important to choose 4x, dx9 does not support 8x with 16X CSAA)cuda -Gpus : all
Maximum pre-render frames: 3
multi-display/mixed-gpu acceleration: single display performence mode
Powermanagment mode: prefer maximum performance
Texture filtering - anosotropic samples optimization: off
Texture filtering Negative lod bias: clamp
Texture filtering - quality High quality
Texture filtering - trilinear optimazation: Off
threaded optimazation on
triple buffering on
Texture filtering - Anisotropic filter optimazation - off
Vertical sync force on

I had ATI in the past, and I don't really know what I have to enable and disable now with this new card.

Hi,

Few ideas:
1. Is the rig completely new, or is it old case with new parts? In that case it is Ati / Nvidia driver conflict.

2. Have you tried using "application-controlled" option in Nvidia panel and max out the Race 07 graphics so nvidia panel doesn't replace them?

3. Have you tried turning off 16xCSAA and turning on 4xMSAA instead? I think Race 07 might have a problem with that.

4. What OS are u running? Windows 7/8?

5. Nvidia control panel isn't really great tool for setting up the game, google "Nvidia Inspector" (recommended by Nvidia itself) and try using this program to set up the Race 07.

Hopefully something helped.

Everything is new in the PC.

Yes, the game was still aliased.

3. Have you tried turning off 16xCSAA and turning on 4xMSAA instead? I think Race 07 might have a problem with that.

I will try, but yesterday, with 16xCSAA, I have a good image quality.

4. What OS are u running? Windows 7/8?

Windows 7

You are right, I heard about it and think I will install it.

Hopefully something helped.
