Both of these worked. Not sure why Scott's post didn't.
@BP I didn't notice you were in the race yesterday until I watched the replay. Cool racing with you in the GT3 race.
Hadn't practiced, so I had a few unfortunate spins...but overall it was a pretty good one.
Put me in coach.
where is @Douglas Garcia and his pops @Marcos Garcia at? get in here fellas, SHRED !
I"m gonna have to drop out this week, guys.
You will be missed we always have good battles
thanks for coming out everyone, it was a sideways shreddy deal! awesome
Everyone that skipped this missed out on a really good time. The cars were very loose and we were all over the place, not to mention Scott putting in some blistering laps. If it's the h-pattern keeping people away from this kind of event, just remember that no one is going to be mad if you use your sequential or paddle shifters, it's fine!
Speaking of h-pattern, sorry again to everyone for occasionally behaving very unpredictably when my shifter gave me 2nd, or even reverse(!) instead of 4th and 3rd. I'll watch Scott's video and try to get it sorted out before the next h-pattern event.
Anyway, thanks to Scott for putting the event on, and to the guys who showed up to drive, it was genuinely just a really good time.
Yep, I sucked and still had a blast. You want to get better at driving? Drive a car that acts like a kid you're always having to correct. After the race, I practiced for a GT3 race and thought I was in an F1 car
here is the video on how to fix the fanatec shifter. this guy's you tube page is AMAZING. everyone here should subscribe and become enlightened
I didn't even see the message above the video. Guys, the guy that made this video is a TOOL. That's the whole point of being a TOOL is to be able to at least give us something useful every now and then
Just watched the video. Nice and concise Scott plus the clarity of the camera and your voice. It was really easy to follow.
Good luck getting it fixed, I've tried a couple times. Gonna give it one more go this weekend; will send it back to Fanatec if it doesn't get with the program.
@BP did you try and tape up the other PCB? I had to do that one about 4 months ago. not a bad shift since
Make sure to calibrate after you do it
Thanks what I was gonna do next, as recommended by you
if that does not fix it its probably the RJ12 cable
