Is this the replacement for the team event?
Sign me up for this one and I hope GTL won't terminate me. Tuesdays event will show.

Kai - one last request: Normal sized text (size=2) in posts, please.

This race isn't until Thursday- read the thread title, it contains the date.

Also the server isn't up yet, and it won't be going up until tonight.

Great evening - those cars were a hoot.

To tired for a full blow by blow but basically Race one was good - Stu did tap me at the worst possible moment and send me around the barriers though. I had to drive half a mile on teh grass to get back, was good fun though.

Race two was a disaster I spun way too often and eventually gave up on being competetive and me and Carlos spend the closing laps doing some syncronised spinning and having some fairly major accidents. Great fun.

I think tonight was my last race before Christmas. So I just wanna say thanks to Stu and everyone at RD for hosting such awesome events. I hope everyone has a great festive season and I'll see you all back on the grid in 2010.

Cheers,
Tom

Thanks Stu for this night. :):):):)

Race 1: I couldn't handle the Alpina and quit after I think four or five laps. I felt more lake a lawn mower or quarry worker digging the rocks than racing a car.

Race 2: The Alfa suited me much better even if I had problems with this demanding track. Alas! I thought you guys had finished as I was one lap behind and quited when I cut the finish line. One lap to early! Baahh.

But great fun running the Alfa, wich I can't say at any cost about the Alpina on this track. I use to like the Alpina but on this track it was horrible.

Perfect recipe to restore faith in GTL for a beleaguered RDHGP sob story :D.

The track is one of my best friends in sim racing, and now both cars i also consider chums :),they are slightly more "chummy" with Sam i think :p,personally just being on reasonable pace with some stability was a treat....High Enjoyment :good:.

Thanks all there, and ofcourse Thommo & RD :good:.
