F1 2011 AI catchup.xml file question..

Hi!
I know that in f1 2010 the catchup.xml file was responsible for the AI to do those irrealistic laps during races.. Does that file affect them so much in f1 2011 also?
When i deleted the catchup file in f1 2010, the AI was much more realistic then.. What would happen if I'd delete it i this game also?
