561.78mb update

So running Sync to download 561.78 update (jhb and bologna) which took about 7 hours believe or not ended up chewing 9gb of data .... Ridiculous .. There is Definitely something wrong with Sync in GSCE

That sounds like something is wrong then. I'm in the states ( which is 1/2 way around the world ) and it doesn't take me more than about 15mins to DL something that size from Reiza. And the download size is always real close to the same size it's supposed to be. I have a 60mb line here which is fast for sure , but there are connections way faster than mine out there.

My connection is 80mb/s which was very weird , it showed it was downloading the update and the status bar was about in the middle , so i left it overnight thinking it was done , woke up to see it was on 20mb left which didnt take long and BOOM it actually downloaded 9gb worth of data

Not sure what has happened there, it must have thought most of the files had been modified. I think there's a log file?

We do provide update packages so that you don't have to use Sync if you prefer not.
