Started practicing from today...Oulton Park is the only track I didn’t know before this series, and I’m barely hanging on in Div. 2! :roflmao:

High 1:59’s are the best I could do...and more than likely I’m at least 5 seconds off everyone else as usual lol

That's not too bad of a time. I think the time trial record is a 1.57.5, so you may only be a few seconds off.

Man I hate the international version of Oulton though. Those chicanes ruin a perfectly good flowing circuit.

Good luck to both divisions today. Looking forward to my home race. I always have mixed fortunes at Oulton, though.

Overtaking is tough so a strong qualie may be crucial.

Careful catching the slightet bit of grass at high speed corners like Island or Druids as the Mini will swing you around, no questions asked :)

Quite good battles going on in Div2! @praxtonio amazing racing at the end, I almost thought it was over and there was one more lap! I hope I gave you enough space on the track; thank you for having been clean during the battle  but the last corner was ninja style  you just disappeared :ninja:

Congratulations again Frank, and Paul Joseph and Rob - good pressure, it was fun :) and thanks to RD as always - see you all next week!

Well, after crashing myself out on lap 2 ruining any chance i had at the championship, that turned out to be one awesome race! Rejoined dead last after my incident and finished P8. Great job today @Ross McGregor with the win! Looks like you snatched that very late on. Awesome job by @Chris Shepherd and @Chris Butcher, well done guys! Looking forward to the final round, see you all there!

Thanks mate. And sorry for another (unexpected) lap. I crossed the line about 1 second before the time was up.;) I thought about lifting the throttle, but i wasn't sure if there would be another lap anyway.

It was considerably better than last week :whistling: I didn't really want to get in a battle for position with anyone, opting to look after the tyres instead and it paid off with a couple of guys diving into the pits late in the race.

Cheers everyone, see you at Hockenheim

Many congrats on the win Frank, I just wasn't quick enough to challenge you after the first 5 laps or so. I still can't believe I managed 2nd place in qualifying and the race! :)

That was a pretty hectic race- the 40 minutes flew by!

Managed to grab pole, but was fortunate as I messed up the final turn on my fastest lap.

The race started ok, but it was difficult to break the slipstream. After a couple of attempts, Chris B got past and I was quite happy to follow for a while. I got a run on him at one point, but couldn’t seal the deal, so this let Chris S through into 2nd. The two Chris’ battled away, resulting in Chris B hitting the grass, letting me chase after Chris S. (I haven’t see the replay so not sure how it all happened)

I made a few attempts on him in the final 25 minutes or so, but nothing really worked, and by this stage I definitely felt like I had more tyres underneath me. So on the final lap I tried a Hail Mary round the outside at the chicane and it luckily came off- although the rest of the lap was horrendous as I missed every apex! Somehow I held on, and was glad to finish what was probably one of the best league races I’ve been involved in! Cheers @Chris Shepherd !

Thanks to the admins and broadcast crew for another enjoyable and well-organised event.

    Thanks all.

Fun racing in Div 2. Elated with with 3rd after last weeks mess! Practice seems to work.

Congrats on the win Frank, just drove away from us all from the line, Think I kept the pace for most the race then just fell back.

Sorry to see Sergio and then Daniel crash out of the group as we were closely matched, such a tight circuit and not many passing places, those barriers at the hairpins are not fun when you touch them.

Pace was good seem to be getting faster each week, thought I had a chance catching Paul after Daniel span out, though unfortunately in the last 10-15 minutes my pace dropped right off having worn the front tyres. Probably braking too hard into the hairpin, better learn more on tyre management. Longest race I've done so far as well and loved every minute.

    See you all next week!
