Protests

Incident #1

Lap 45, 4657s

Hodas tries to defend his position without front wing and causes a crash. When coming to the final corner on the final lap he takes the inside line but brakes too late and can't keep his line and hits me. I see that without the crash I would have taken p9 and he would have got p10.

Director:
Hodas is ahead into the corner. Valkeejarvi brakes around outside. Hodas brakes were locked, but he was ahead by heaps going into the corner. He didn't "slide into you", he placed his car tactfully in the middle of the track. He was ahead the entire time, he was inside the entire time. He did take the middle "lane", but he didn't squeeze you. I think you have to wait for the other guy to be ahead before you turn in the way Valkeejarvi turned in.

Verdict: Valkeejarvi fault for contact. No action since no protest from Hodas.

Incedent#2
Dawid Mroczek cut across Marek Godek causing them both to crash. Their cars bounced off the wall and back onto the track, side swiping me and ending my race.

Director:
Dawid Mroczek cut across Marek Godek, putting them both onto grass and into wall. Mroczek when going backwards, does not brake or steer to prevent coming back onto track, hitting the rear of Satherly. Major online etiquette breach, Godek does not brake to prevent lower chances of coming back on track after hitting wall, major online etiquette breach.

Verdict: Mroczek major online etiquette breach -2.0SR + back of grid for next race. Further race ending incidents result in a race ban. Not braking/steering coming back on track major online etiquette breach -1.0SR. Godek not braking coming back onto track major online etiquette breach -1.0SR

Shame about that DQ, I told Blair what happend, but to the point - I want to suggest to give drivers possibility to download mod file for race weekend via RD, in Briefing topic.

Stupid rF2 (or server, whatever) just isnt reliable enough to let driver download the file in 100 % of cases. Drivers still have server password visible only in GPcos, so it wouldnt be problem to make that file available on public, right?

I had BoG in Sepang, was trying to download file during Q2, then WU. I just wasnt able. Then even game itself started to have problems and I had to restart it about 10times during whole process.

Make the file public would effectively prevent similar problems.
-----------------
About that incident - I had destroyed tires after crash (also puncture on FR), so I was wide every corner. There wasnt any easier thing, as just stay on the outside, let me outbrake myself and take inside line for P9 ;) easy as that...

Dear mister Disley,

Tnx for the warning i already thought it would be problematic, it went Not responding so i quited it.
What should be the right procedure for me if manager stops working?
I assume it still saves the logs and i remember pressing no when asked to overwrite.
Let me know!

ps.
Win a race again please! =D :inlove:

I was about to do that but you braked so early that I thought I just go around. l didn't realize you had a puncture and no front wing as I thought you had just spun and had very worn tyres so didn't see you outbraking when braking so early, what I thought was going on and what actually was going on didn't quite match which caused the last turn to be quite embarrassing from my part tbh. 3 screens would have helped as I would have seen you lol :D

Hey Chris,

If its not responding and you have to "end task"... before and after ending task, check for any logs, or any temp logs, and rename them. Then end manager and restart manager then start rfactor 2 from manager, and send both logs in.

That way you should have a temp log at least, and then a second one from after restarting.
