Which would indicate that Ricciardo 'nailed' it, not Vettel having a worse car.

Yup, after me reading Vettel prior first stop was complying on worn rears, no wonders if that was the case in the later stage

I run into this today:
Vettel losing out to Ricciardo explained by AutoBild's Bianca Garloff:

"Vettel lost 0,9 seconds in his inlap because of Hulk, 0,2 at the pitstop and 0,8 in his outlap because no DRS (too far away from Perez). It was bad luck and not Vettel's fault."

Is the canadian Gp the only one which had it's chicanes turned into straights? Usually they add chicanes on straights to slow speeds down
