2013 Mercedes AMG F1 W04

Im hearing that the issue was the right rear brake, the connecter from the hydrolic line to the brake caliper failed/broke off, causing loss of brake pressure.

The car has clearly some thermal design issues at the exhaust exit.

Supposedly they use some heat-reflecting coat on the cars to avoid the carbon fibre getting burnt, but they don't apply it for the first test (that way they can pinpoint where it gets burnt, so they save weight).

So that's probably normal.

guys is this Mercedes AMG engine the most powerful among now existing/racing engines in F1, how much horse power does this mercedes engine has over those of Renault or Ferrari ?

does anyone knows?

Horsepower I think they're all about the same, as they're all homologated.

Mercedes is the strongest in high-revs / straight line speed.
Renault seems to be the best in medium revs / low-to-medium speed corners.
Ferrari is very strong in low-revs/grid starts. Has very good pick-up in low revs.

thank you, so there is no chance, ur saying, that these years engine of mercedes would have 100hp more than any other ? I know about 2014 but i think i read somewhere about this year Mercedes engine

If you have more hp then another team you have it all the time.
The horsepower does not care if you are in a corner or straight.

Today´s Merc engine has the most horsepower out of the lot.
Getting good starts is not down to engine, it´s down to gearing and clutch bite point.
And diff etc. But not horsepower.
