2012 V8 Supercars

One thing that bugged me was what a scared cat Davidson was.
Davison. I have no clue why Larkham keeps calling him Davidson.

I could see that dive at the hairpin coming by a mile, yet he didn't cover the inside? Have I missed something in the time I wasn't able to see the channel and the series(Last time was the Bathurst 1000 over a year or even two ago)? It's not some retarded tyre rule like DTM had last year to let the one with fresher tyres through, right?
No rule. They were on different strategies, so no point to fight it, and risk damage, lose time and fuel and tires. They're also good friends.

Oh my bad. I only saw the names in the list and always saw a D(Thank you Anthony Davidson:rolleyes:).

Even if you're friends: You let the rival pass so easily? Furthermore Senad: It's the last lap, screw the strategy on the last lap, it's not like they're mid-way through the race:p Covering the inside wouldn't cause a crash by default, I am sure Whincup's got a brain tooxD

I am more pointing towards (David?) Wall, he held him up 3 corners when Davison was behind him, but as soon as Whincup was close, he just moved over. Is he a rookie who needs a lesson first? Sour taste for me as I always liked the Ford Performance team(Because they once ran a CAT-livery).

After the finish line, Davison and the team members were quite down, I think Davison might have been a bit sad that he didn't block Whincup, because he could have taken that win quite possibly(if not for afore-mentioned Wall) .

Why not block with only 5 corners to go? Some other guys like Bright were off worse by only missing the apex!

Oh, last lap of race 1? He was out of fuel. Car was coughing on turn 8. So it's either half a lap of pointless blocking with a crippled car, and possibly not making it, or letting him go, and cruising to the finish line in 2nd place.

Symmons Plains on this weekend with practice starting tomorrow

Great little track in my opinion looking forward to seeing how FPR go they are really in form at the moment and a track that generally are very fast at.

really looking forward to 2013 v8 supercars with all the changes that have been made in the COTF program i think it going to be one of the best racing series out there, not that it isnt already :)

yeah i think we see a hyundai on the grid, theres a vid that shows how they planned COTF, and as they show what the cars look like you see a nissan and a hyundia:)

2 mins in you see a potential toyota, hyundia, nissan

Ah, but that's just a promo, a design plan. Those pics are just mock-ups - it doesn't necessarily mean that those cars will indeed be competing. I'd take it with a grain of salt... If I recall correctly, Toyota's already been rumoured to be joining the category for years on end, and nothing has ever come of it...
