I tried everything as in the readme, the car shows up in the game, and the loading completes normal, but then I get a black screen, with only the HUD visible, and cannot drive.
This was in free practice.

2nd try Time Trial, game loads fine, track and car loads fine, when I would get manual control, the game freezes.

All bmt materials were converted to mtx files which can be easily edited with Notepad

you can only hex-edit physics of the car (bin files). You can edit with a text editor material files, which were previously in bmt format.

After activating the mod in JSGME, you will find the bat files in the game's main folder. You don't have to move them elsewhere.
