Pretty interesting, it seems that the longer the straights the more equal it is but once corners come into play, the 2009 cars is seconds faster.​

The reason i took Q2 times is because Q3 times is with race fuel.​

@ 0:27 you can see the road on the left for the Endurance Circuit.

I wasn't following F1 in 2009 so I had no idea the cars were just as fast/slightly faster than they are now. I would have thought aero improved after the changes in 2009.

Well i think pole lap could be 1:34.xxx and race fastest lap could be 1:37.xxx
also i think DRS could be at 2 place one at S/F finish and other at the T13 and T 14 what do you say about it guys

I think all that's needed is a DRS zone on the pit straight. The straight before can be used to close in.

I thought this year was the 2010 layout as well. F1 main site shows the old layout though...

Front tyres were wider in 2009 as they had the size of the grooved tyres from 2008. This was changed for 2010. They had massive grip on the front and with the double diffuser those cars had better corner speeds.

So what about RBR and Mclaren
and I'm Confused about one thing : what made the lap times much slower than 2011
Pirelli tires or Blown Diffusers cos we know last year China pole is around 1:33.xxx but last race we have 1:35.121 about 1.5 to 2 second drop ......

EBD and OTBD allowed the car to create a bigger, virtual diffuser which in turn allowed the car to be raised which in turn allowed the front wing to be closer to the ground which created more downforce.

More downforce from the diffuser allows you to use more downforce at the front as well so that is the reason times are slower this year.

Yea out of him and webber he was the one that benefited from the Off throttle blowing the most.

2010 Q-gap between the two was around 0.02 seconds over a season.
In 2011 it was half a second.
And now this year it´s the other way around almost.

Yes this layout is much more fun, if you drove it in games anyways it's fun. Also turns 2/3 always seems like a place you can lose a lot of time if you get turn one wrong, so turn 4 should have a few overtakes. It's not one of the worst circuits on the calendar. People don't like it, but I don't think their hate is purely based on the circuit's layout.
