GT1 is pretty much obsulete in the USA these days, what with the new FIA GT1 rules etc.. they have also merged the two Prototype classes together for 2010, Highcroft racing have switched back to the ARX-01 LMP2 car from the ARX-02 LMP1 they ran this year, they are running what has been called the ARX-01''c'', will be interesting to see what modifications they did to the ARX-01b.

ALMS season opener is finally here next weekend!

For the 11th time, the American Le Mans Series will open its season at America's greatest sports car race - the 58th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida. No race in the world punishes man and machine more than the annual 12-hour classic which attracts thousands and thousands of spectators each

It is great to get endurance season started and see these beasts racing again. I hope Priaulx will do well in #90 BMW M3

Now there is only one question. Can I watch it? Speed tv and Motors tv are broadcasting so you are lucky who have those channels at home but my only hope is to find a good stream from the internet. Let's hope I can find one. Will edit it here if/when I find one.

EDIT:
Hopefully working links will appear here as it says.
Friday (qualifying):

Saturday (race):

http://myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=69380&part=sports

http://stream.speedtv.com/ This should show qualifying and race during the time when tv channel shows nascar. Hopefully it works outside USA because it seems speed tv has already limited videos on its web page that only US people can watch them.

Was so great to hear the sound of gt cars again after a winter break. LMPC cars sound bit weird because they all have corvette engine but on the other hand all cars seems to be very close to eachother.

Omg..happened again. Got a Sauna/beer invite from a friend for tomorrow night. Why they always do that when there's something cool racing. :)
Hopefully mobile phone and tv in cable will sort that out and I can set a studio there.

Gene takes Sebring pole for Peugeot

Peugeot took its anticipated front row sweep in qualifying for the Sebring 12 Hours, with Marc Gene beating team-mate Nicolas Minassian to the top spot.
The diesel-powered LMP1 squad has dominated the event from the start of unofficial testing this week, and only needed one run in qualifying to secure the top two positions, with 0.3 seconds separating its drivers.
