That means that the GR Asia team will start with 3 cars in the third race of the season.
23 year old Ceresoli whas Coronel team mate in the WTCC in the 2006 season
He managed a fith place in the idependents championship.

Why on earth do they take him back? Havent they got enough on the Seat of Coronel? On Zandvoort he could used some more speed. Let them focus on that car!

Maybe they can buy some "real" factory parts for Tom! He now has the race with the big boys in a semi-privateer car, so unfair!

Ceresoli is young, not really bad and brings money. Every team would take him.

About Coronel: Towards the end of the last year Rangoni and Tom were on about one level. Now Rangoni is a top-driver and Coronel is in the midfield. So I think if Tom would be also in an updated car, he would be also at the front. He's surely a better driver than Jourdain or Gene. But that's life... at least he's still in WTCC (not like Huisman or Terting).

I've heard he's now conquering the streets of Bucharest in a Dacia Logan...

His twin brother Peter works for Abt, last thing I heard is he made the roll-out for the DTM Audi. Not sure if he's in any race this year aswell. I hope he'll be in Oschersleben, back in WTCC where he definately belongs.

Yes always liked his agressive driving style! Too bad he is not their this year

Tom Coronel get`s new improved factory engine

Coronel get`s a mutch improved factory engine in his seat leon before the race on Pau.
He therefore has the same material as the factory drivers Gabriele Tarquini and Yvan Muller.
Tom wil perform a shakedown this week on the seat testtrack in Abrera.
The new engine is a big step forwards caused by the highly improved compression in the engine.

It`s remarkeble that Tom get`s the same material as the factory drivers
At the forcoming race at valencia only Gabrielle Tarquini wil have the new eingine in the front of the Leon.
The new engine will be in the Leon from Tom and Yvan on the race at Pau.

Asia will try to maintain the same level of material as the factory seat team.
The coming of Maurizio Ceresoli will not negatively influence that discision.

Well , it`s a Alfa on pole......and no it`s not Tielemans.

And m.g whats wrong with Tom`s leon ?
Last year he quialified 5th and now 17th.
Well , he knows what to do tomorow.
But a gues the chevy`s will turn the heads in both race`s.

And is it me or is there just one Russian Bear present ?

Wauw, really unbeleavable that an Alfa grabbed the pole :) Forza Alfa! But look only 0.001 seconds between him and Yvan Muller, that sooooo close!

And furthermore: the first 19 drivers are within a second from the pole position. So Coronel did not qualify that bad: he's only 0.7 seconds slower then Thompson. Its just a bummer that that doesn't bring you any further then P17.

Thommo shows the Alfa may be old, but still fast!
Go Thommo!

There was really only one Russian Bear. And Coronel... well the gap is not that big, but still another mediocre performance.
Beating Rangoni and Colciago should be his goal. I'm sure he will be better with the new parts in Pau.

J Müller is a bit disappointing, Zanardi aswell.

Omg, did they lookt at us lastnight ?
First corner pile-up
And what the hell whas Farfuss thinking ?.......kamikaze`s live(d) in Japan....not Brasil.
That cost Tom a good classification.

Good race for Thompson.
And my prediction for race 1 is not even close. :)
