I know I'm a Mini freak, but in case anyone is looking for a great mod for GTL, you should check out the 1310 Mini mod.

The models are superb, and the performance is pretty quick, although now a little harder to drive (on the edge).

Here is a screeny to show the model. Lots of great skins included too.

These things truly are little pocket rockets.

Yeah - agreed :good:

Then we have the answer whether a Mini can beat a Falcon - with these, just about everywhere.

We'll eventually look to get these and other great mod cars onto the servers as a part of a standard GTL build.

That's probably what I'll look into next after the skinpack and the RDHGP, so come the summer we can (maybe) have Dino vs Aston DB4GT vs TR4 racing

Is that Triumph TR4?

*shudder*

Those skins look great... I'm starting to get the hang of FWD in GTL, although not so much in Race '07 lol.

Yeh, hence I never (before I signed up here) used it. Warren possibly may have converted me to its excitement factor!!

Oh man, how can you not drive the Mini? It am the best :good:

Mind you - I'm going through epiphanies on an almost weekly basis now.

My driving has really improved since going online here at RD, still not proper quick like some but I'm getting there.

And now, I'm driving vehicles that I literally haven't driven since before I started online racing, and I'm seeing them in a whole new light, because of that improvement.

The Cortina & Escort last night, as two specific examples. Last night a win in the Cortina, and when keeping the Escort clean, really good pace. 6 months ago I'd have been all over the place.

Dagenham Rocks!

We can't run it on here yet, unfortunately, but if you know of somewhere running a later start event, I could well be in tonight :good:

Assuming you are in the same timezone as Jerusalem, 20.30 UK time = 22.30 Jerusalem - plus I haven't downloaded the mod yet.

Maybe arrange something for next week might be better, to give people more notice?

I probably won't be ready to race until 23.00 your time, but if you're still up for that, I'll check back in here :good:

At the least we can have a good testing session

I'm @work now, and won't be home until late (the times above), but I'll definitely keep an eye out for it when I get home :good:

Some of the others who're at home now may fancy it...

I've put a litle advert in the update of the Snetterton race too
