10th anniversary mod UI questions.

This 10th anniversary MOD is great. I have just changed computers and am rebuilding my GTL for the first time in years.

I have a couple of questions I hope someone could answer which have come up whilst rebuilding my car database.


1) in car dealer --> view car (the big car view because I like staring at the beautiful cars and paint jobs!) the rotation animation is smooth but before you use -->view car the animation (small window) in car dealer is jerky.
If you use -->view car and then return out of this view to car dealer then the small car window is perfectly smooth.
Have I missed something in my setup that causes this?

2) Why in Car Dealer is the car list in alphabetic order yet in Garage it seems random. Have I missed a setup step? Is there are way to get the cars in garage to list alphabetically?

I realize that the answer may be "thats just GTL, live with it" but I thought I'd ask just in case someone knew.

I have just updated UI skins, moved buttons and added new entries in garage...but in the end this is still old GTL UI in background.

I am OCD and get bothered with "stuff" like that

The one really bugs me in GTL/GTR is the naming format of 3rd party circuits and then it got carried over to newer sims

Like I said 20 years ago would be nice to have Modders and Painters co-op which would have rules
for mod naming and format or you would not get "seal of approval"
That would have pulled everyone into line

Thanks GTR233 - I thought it might be but wanted to check. Still a much better interface to check car mods/new skins. Thanks for all your hard work on this.

My usually home is flight sims but I did spend much time with GPL and have just reloaded my full modded for me version. It goes great guns on modern hardware! Anyway I know how many hours go into this stuff and wanted to say thanks,

On circuits and cars, I rename them for me so I have Ford Escort Mk2 instead of many groups of MK2, Mk.2, Mkii and so on. Just curious why in car dealer it lists alphabetically and garage it doesn't mostly. Odd but just GTL.
