Now for some thoughts.

The Mercedes VGT Race Car is a nice enough tank. The colours... well there are some nice ones and some ungodly ugly ones.

Corvette understeers way too easily for a RWD.

RB events... Well they did produce them before the end of Januray. The Vettel challenge is easier than GT5 by a long way but still hard for a DS3 user like myself. The X2014 Standard event is still in my opinion too easy (I found it just as easy as the Junior event).

Now to my biggest gripe and the reason I'm considering selling my copy of GT6 to some unlucky idiot like me that was really looking forward to getting the game (well I'm not really since i'm liking racing here at RD with it). The physics. They have change immensely from 1.03. I'd go so far as to say they are 1.025 (1.02 with MINOR updates). I'm still doing testing on this but the cars seem to spin alot easier. Tyres have also been changed to cool down and warm up at a constant pace instead of immediately (which is realistic and I'm not complaining about that).

Lastly the so calles "run off-slow down" effect has made me hate GT6. This morning in the races I wan off the track. Sure we all know the TCS is made to come on stronget than when it's set at 10 but that we can all live with. What kills it for me now is that even running onto the grass will make you slow down drastically. When I went off it took forever to get back on since the car was doing 36km/h. Yes you read that correctly 36km/h on grass.

So I'm not very happy with the "improvements" that PD have forced on us in 1.04.

I bought GT6 as a download and had it on release day. To my mind, the physics were better at release than they are now. They felt more like real cars.

I've noticed that the handling has become looser as the patches have progressed. I hated the physics in GT5 and it's starting to feel more like we're going back there...

I would like to add that now there is a small text indicating if the interior is complete or simplified for each car in the dealerships.

My two cents on the game so far after the update.
I've also noticed a difference in handling compared to the game when I first bought it. As Richard said, I also have the feeling that we are going back to GT5 (not good for me). The handling was more progressive and I could feel the various forces applied to the car while driving. Now I feel as they are go karts with no suspension (maybe it's wrong and I'm dreaming but I think the physics changed a little), plus I spin a lot easier than before (!) :O_o:. As for the tires I haven't tested out their wear and heat rates as I have very little free time.
In any case, it would be nice if PD informed us about ALL changes implemented to each update.
