So after around 350+ people have set their time, the game get's hotfixed and you are not able to edit the setup anymore, how is that fair? Full tank of gas vs 21 liters etc etc

I think the question is not about the setup changes because it was very clear about invalidation, but how much the tires physics changes and how different/slow they are from now and beyond.

Hi there! We confirm that there is no change in car's performance or physics from 0.7 to 0.7.1 and our servers are datalogging everything about car's setup.
Anyone glitching or changing setup due to game bugs will see his time removed from the leaderboard.

Anyway: all the top 12 must submit a replay or video recording of the hotstint sessions and BTW: the tournament is designed to let everyone show their talent (at least the one bringing to prizes) on-site. The SILVER qualy just gives an opportunity to jump in the round's semi-final directly, so if a cheater is coming there, he still needs to be on the top 4 of SILVER semi-finalists, and be on the podium in one of the four rounds final (Monza, PR, Spa, Nurb). Looking at the demography of last year's shakedown events the AM on-site leaderboard will easily bring 12 beast drivers (of which four are entering each round's final) to compete seriously with PROs and SILVERs (that are of their same weight).

Important: there is no difference from a qualified SILVER and the "guy that is 14th on the SILVER leaderboard", as long as that guy is coming to the on-site event, qualifying as an AM, and going forward.
As you can see: at the end only the 36 fastest drivers will compete, with the overall top 12 having the round final.

Hope this clarifies a bit guys!
See you soon
