Also, let me ask, is rFactor 2 worth 5 bucks in 2021?
That very much depends on you.

If you're willing to take a beating from a game that will not hold your hand, will throw myriad of bugs and user unfriendliness towards you, not reward you with optimization and graphics, yet provide a blissful experience in terms of physics and FFB (assuming you even get to that point), then yes.

If you have limited time, cannot cope with something that will remind you on every step of its dated design, if you don't like googling and spending lots of time (at least initially) to learn how to work around several bugs, if you appreciate a quality hand picked content that is always nice no matter what you select, if you like good and quick to navigate UI, if you like to jump in in a quick solo session or a session with friends or even random people in a nicely organized multiplayer races then stay away from it as far as possible.

I love rF2, yet I cannot recommend it to anyone I know. And every single day I watch it go down a rabbit hole.

rF2 for 5 dollars?

Quote from my dad:

"I asked you what time it is, not how to build a clock!"

I'd love a few laps of rF2 just to see, for myself, why the FFB & physics are so praised.
But I'm not willing to learn how to build a clock from brass.

Thanks for the heads up Havner, I think I'm with XPxNJ then on this one. I've been out of the online gaming community for a while (satellite internet) but now I'm back with 460Mbps down and 22Mbps up. I just fired up Assetto Corsa last night and started messing with the CSP and Sol. I'm not new to modding but things do get tedious after a while. AC wasn't too hard to get supped up with the help of the Content Manager and I've already found a nice mix and balance of setting that has blown my mind just how good it looks. With that, I think I've found my new favorite sim, I might pick up ACC just for giggles and to see how the newer graphics and multi point tire model compare to AC, but so far, I am loving what the mod community has done with AC and can't wait to get online and participate in some races with you fine folks. Now I just have to run over to my mom's house and pick up my force feedback wheel that's been sitting in my truck for 4 months... don't ask. Anyways, tell me what you think? And Youtube compression doesn't really do it justice.
