Driver Swap Racing is live on Simracing.GP
Sim racing team events have become some of the most popular multiplayer races in recent years so it was only a matter of time before teams events for ACC were added to Simracing.gp. Well today is the day communities can start racing teams events on the platform.
Here is the latest news from the simracing.gp blog
After months of extensive development and testing, we are proud to bring you the ability to host your own Assetto Corsa Competizione Teams / Driver Swap Races on Simracing.GP. From Today, Community Owners will be able to access the Driver Swaps Beta tools in the event creation panel within their communities. We have been working closely with some of the top organisers of driver swap races to give you a full set of tools to go racing with your teammates in ACC.
A full guide will be coming out later this afternoon for both Owners and Drivers to get to know the system and how to set up and drive in these races. Most of our communities have some amazing plans in the works with these tools and we cannot wait to add Driver Swap Championships in the very near future.
You can identify a driver swap race using the driver swap icon above the event information.
For now, community owners will have the ability to create a team event with up to 50 teams of 4 drivers for a maximum 6 hour race duration. In true Simracing.GP fashion, these races can be set up in less than 5 minutes and should take a lot of stress away from organising these large scale events!
One other note, this feature is still in beta (I know, beta within a beta) and we are looking for communities to test the feature first before we can officially call it finished. We are missing a "restart server" button which will be coming soon but for the most part the feature is all but done. Now, on to setting up your events.

Simracing.gp changes the game for brands looking to enter the esports space not just because of the lower barriers to entry but also because of the existing player base already on the platform. With over 14,000 players already registered on the platform activating tournaments has never been easier.
