The 2022 Logitech McLaren G Challenge is live and with hundreds of drivers having already qualified, it’s bound to an exciting first split of competition. Register here and qualify before October 18th to be eligible for Split #1 Knockout Rounds.
This year the G Challenge is offering its strongest prize pool yet including a mix of $100,000 cash, $50,000 in Logitech prizes, and the chance to meet Lando Norris at the McLaren F1 team paddock during next year’s Austrian Grand Prix!
Cash prizes will be presented to sim racers advancing through the knockout rounds and grand finals, with $25,000 USD allocated for each of four world regions; NA, LATAM, EMEA, & APAC. Regional cash distributions for each regions are as follows:
The biggest change to this year’s prizing program is that participants only need to complete a split’s qualifying race to become eligible for prizing, rewarding drivers for simply joining the community and taking part in the action. Logitech has planned 20 weeks of participation sweepstakes, giving drivers a chance to win Logitech G535, Pro X Wireless headsets, and Logitech Stream Cams. 60 weekly winners will also be entered in an exclusive drawing to also win the Grand Prize, with two lucky winners selected during the Grand Finals broadcast next March.
This year’s Grand Prize includes a trip to Austria including travel and hotel costs, a 4-day Austrian Grand Prix ticket, a meet-and-greet with Lando Norris, a tour of the McLaren paddock, and a custom McLaren jacket and driver’s cap. Each region’s champion will also receive a Logitech Pro Wheel and Pro Pedals.
