RaceDepartment named as official media partner for the ADAC Sim Racing Expo

We are proud to announce that RaceDepartment has been named the official media partner for the ADAC Sim Racing Expo 2021. All the latest industry news from the show will be found right here on RaceDepartment.com

It's with great pleasure we can finally announce that we will be covering the ADAC Sim Racing Expo 2021 here on RaceDepartment. We have been named the official media partner for the show and will be getting the unparalleled access to the event and the exhibitors meaning we will be brining you all the latest news from the expo as it happens.

Chief organiser Michael Wamser is excited about the future cooperation:
"We are happy to finally be able to work so intensively with RaceDepartment. Our goal is to offer our fans and the entire SimRacing community the best possible SimRacing experience – both on-site and digitally. A co-op with RaceDepartment is like an accolade from our own community."

Bram Hengeveld, Managing Director of RaceDepartment also feels positive:
“We are very happy to be official media partners of the ADAC SimRacing Expo 2021. We are passionate SimRacers at our core and covering the latest news to come out of the show will be of great interest to our members and visitors to our website. We look forward to both a successful Expo and partnership with Cowana.”

As official media partners, RaceDepartment and Cowana's SimRacing Unlimited will set up an extensive section of the ADAC SimRacing Expo on their own online presence including pre-event coverage, news and reports from the event, streams, video content and much more.

We are really excited about this news and even more excited about the show. Covid permitting, I am thinking an RD meet up might be in order? The 2018 trip to the expo at the Nürburgring (which I regretfully missed) looked like a blast and only if it's safe to do so, I would love to arrange something similar for 2021.

Tickets are available at www.simracingexpo.de. The Day-Pass costs 8 euros, the price for the weekend ticket is 12 € until August 15. From August 16, the weekend ticket will cost 15 €. These tickets give visitors access to all areas of the ADAC SimRacing Expo.

Hopefully see you there!

Cool thing, sounds like a perfect collabo... :)
I am looking forward to nice videos, interviews etc... and depending on covid restrictions i might be there too. :D

It's clashing with the national ploughing championships in Ireland. I usually have to work the expo side of that. I have done a lot of expos for work, I used to do about 5 or 6 a year, now I'm just a back up for the bigger expos like the ploughing. I've grown to hate expos so much, it would be a real change of scene to be at one I actually enjoy.

SimRacing Expo is always a Blast....but in this Pandemic times I think it makes no sense at all to host such an Event. I mean the Expo is in the month of September when the Covid Infections will increase again. Would make more sense to hold such an event in the Summer when the Covid infections are lower.

Congrats! At this point I highly doubt that Sim Racing Expo will take place though. Germany is currently doing pretty badly in the fight against Covid.

I think they're trying to move as far away as possible with these events. The spaces can also be booked up months or years in advance. These Expos are still not allowed to go ahead, they're working on the assumption there won't be further lock downs by the time September comes around because of vaccines. The ploughing championship I mentioned before has set dates but isn't booking exhibitors yet just in case.
