One To Watch | Heusinkveld Interview By The Sim Channel

Leon from The Sim Channel recently sat down for a mammoth tech talk with Heusinkveld Engineering owner Niels Heusinkveld, to talk sim hardware and new products coming...

Sim racing hardware enthusiasts will no doubt already be highly familiar from the hardware range on offer by Heusinkveld Engineering, from pedals to shifters and handbrakes, however many sim racers might be interested to learn the key differences between each piece of hardware and what is next on the horizon for the popular Dutch firm - well worry not, it looks like The Sim Channel have you covered with this immensely long and detailed interview, which you can watch below:

In this talk, Niels and The Sim Channel creator Leon Rene Sutfeld have a nice talk about the Sprint and Pro pedal set from HE Engineering, Niels shares news on new products coming soon and generally we get the opportunity to hear some great insights from Niels about the way hardwear interacts with modern racing sims - a great watch!

This site's advertisement have gone out of control, annoying pop-ups everywhere.. not terrible on PC but on my phone I have to constantly get rid of casino ads and what not. Please consider a fix to this

Mod-edit: might want to check your phone as we don't even serve pop-up ads

whatever the definition of popups are, your ads are intrusive and annoying. But whatever its your site you do what you want.

Totally off topic in this thread but what would be an alternative solution for you? A paywal to enter the site? A membership level to just remove ads? Happy to hear a more fitting solution that helps to pay the huge monthly bill to RD.
All you need to do is move the ads away from where you're interacting with the website. Right now it pops up in front of stuff you want to read/interact with and is just intrusive. There are tons of sites online that handle ads well.

Also it would be nicer to have relevant ads instead of a generic Google ad but I understand this is more difficult to achieve

you may consider the costs of a site and almost nobody cares about a membership . currently the simracing niche is atomized into private forums, discords, steam, etc and this is why there is no other site like this, it is not profitable. people come, download and bye bye

We're really not working on a H shifter actively and have tried to communicate this very clearly! Please don't wait for ours! :)

I personally was aware that this was not a focus, but hey ya never know. Can't blame us for wanting another quality HE product :)

So go whine your petulant whine elsewhere, "anything but sunny" sunday. We'll be just fine without you. "Plenty of other sites"... so go hang out on one of them. Maybe it's time to put a minimum age limit on the site, Bram? I hear enough whining children with my grandkids...
