Kunos Simulazioni Confirms New Car for Assetto Corsa Competizione

The current version of the Huracan ST is playable this weekend at the Lamborghini Real Race final at Misano, and will later be released to the public.

The Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 will be released to Assetto Corsa Competizione owners according to a Tweet from Kunos.

The new version of the ST is being showcased this weekend at the Misano circuit, host to the world finals of the Lamborghini Real Race competition. Currently the car is available only in a limited demonstration capacity via ACC. The demo of the EVO2 is run on a closed version of ACC, and is set up as a hotlap competition.

The Super Trofeo is the default test car in career mode in ACC. Most of its use is limited to only those career mode driver tests by ACC players, since the car underperforms versus the GT3 class cars in game, but overperforms versus GT4s. The Super Trofeo is one of two single make cars in Competizione, along with the Porsche Cup car.

The real version of the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 will debut in 2022. With 612 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque coming from the 5.2L V10, plus 12 ABS and 9 Traction Control settings, the car will be capable of impressive track times next year during the 2022 Super Trofeo season. There was a newer version of the Super Trofeo, the EVO, which was never added to Assetto Corsa Competizione. The EVO2 isn't a major overhaul from the previous EVO, but tweaks some aspects.

Looking forward to this. Never driven the original one but will certainly give it a go and there will be races out there and mini leagues, there are various ones around for the Porsche Cup so why not the ST Evo2.

I wonder if it is due to launch in the V1.8 update which Aris mentioned with reference to the recent hack that came to light which has since been fixed in a silent hotfix. I felt there was an insinuation that its a good sized update, perhaps some new content too?

The content of ACC is after the long time very disappointing. GT4 and GT3 that's it. I like old Touring cars and so I spent my time in AC with CSP and Sol and a lot of very good mods. AMS2 is for me with the selection of the cars more advanced in the short time in comparison to ACC.
Does SRO Incldudes Touring cars? No, theres your answer

What disappoints me in ACC is the lack of any new significant announcement in more than a year. Any more DLCs on the horizon? What about a season 2021 pack? And, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, no safety car and yellow flag periods in the game is just lazy.

Obviously, the game has already reached the end of its development. I'm guessing they're working on AC2.

Obviously you're not paying attention then :) There was the interview with Marco in summer where he confirmed there will be around six new cars in the future for ACC, including the BMW M4 GT3.

As well as North American tracks.

I agree with your point. Its been well over three years since release not including early access, but the game lacks development, new features, its just flat, yes a formally licensed endurance racing game, no optimization, poor AI, no safety car, no slow zones. Not realistic to me. The whole ACC cycle is about releasing DLC/season updates which I am ok with at best. New DLC is coming but like always after 2/3 days of its release all fades away.

I know most people are opposed to this, and I was at first, But I now play this game fully maxed out at 100% ss on my reverb g2 with WMR motion reprojection on and its smooth as butter and looks great. Im finally happy with the VR performance. I was so against motion reprojection since I had a 3090 and didnt feel i should have to. But it honestly was a game changer for me. Maybe Im lucky that im not as sensitive to motion as others, but besides the occational motion blur in replays I cant tell much difference between 45 and 90. WMR motion projection came a long way. Try it before you write it off based on what others say. you might be missing out.
i feel you.. a lot of people dont realize unreal wasnt made for vr. its a hella after thought. i just recently picked up a 3070, upgraded from a 1070 and been tweaking settings all week and finally can hold a solid 60/70 fps without motion smoothing/reprojection and once thats on its butter for me too.. and hella crisp compared to the potato it was before..yeah the frame times a slightly high .but its not working my gpu past 70%.. that being said.. bring on dlss . yay more setting to tinker with.lol

I read that interview, but I'm waiting for an official announcement.

New content is always welcome, but perhaps because of the pandemic, Kunos has relaxed a lot, cars like Supra gt4 have not come yet, if the dlc does not sell, reduce the price it sells, American tracks, Daytona, Sebring, South American, Interlagos, Asian, Fuji, Sepang, let's see if the New BMW gt3 M4 arrives but
Im still waiting for the Mustang Gt4 as a ford fanatic ,its a
bit annoying

What about a season 2021 pack?
That would only be the Valencia track as the 2021 liveries are all already in the game as a free upgrade in case you missed that. There is nothing else new for GTWC Europe in 2021.
As much as i would love to see more tracks, Valencia is not one of them, i think its a rather boring track and clearly more made or suited for bikes, similar to Oschersleben, very ondulated and compact, you feel like you never really can spread the cars legs, no exciting fast corner combinations etc.

ehm.... uhm.....
is kunos by somehow affilated with cd project red ?
"woooow, we made a new rainbow-colored punk pants! it only took 8 weeks! more shocking content to come!"

I'm not bothered about the lack of new car classes in ACC. It is, after all, a licensed product focused on GT3/4 series and I'm fine with that. What it does lack is a few more tracks, Magny Cours and Valencia being the glaring omissions.
