After a thrilling race, voting has opened for the RaceDepartment Emilia Romagna Grand Prix 'Driver of the Day'.

After a close start to the season, expectations were high as the teams headed to Imola, and the classic circuit certainly delivered excitement.

As expected, the start of the race was affected by wet weather, with low grip making the opening laps challenging for the drivers. As the cars got up to speed and conditions improved, we saw some more adventurous driving, which delivered great overtakes, produced numerous collisions and even a red flag. Despite changing conditions and an interrupted race, today's winner took a very dominant victory.

There are however, plenty of good candidates for Driver of the Day up and down the grid, with some very impressive performances in the midfield. Some chaos for the regular front runners also allowed for some drivers to finish further up the order than expected. Today's race reaffirmed that this year should provide some fantastic battles in both the drivers and constructors championships, in what has undoubtedly been one of the closest starts to a year in recent memory.

Make sure to cast your vote for your winner, and reflect on a thrilling few weeks for F1 in 2021.

Zuneguy loves Hamilton. and that's fine we all have our heroes.

if the redbull car keeps going fast we'll see if Hamilton is the best..since his six wdc without any competition .. he will have to work hard together with mercedes.. just like Max has to do with Redbull they are both on this moment from another planet.. well matched the season is long.... very long and they will also drive each other off the track with all drama.

i think the mercedes is slightly fast but it is close to each other

To be fair I do think Lewis the best of this bunch of drivers, I just don't think he's the GOAT. Thinking that he isn't the GOAT is tantamount to being a fully paid up KKK member in some eyes!!

If Lewis was ABLE contractually to follow in the footsteps of Jim Clarke, Jack Brabham, Mario Andretti etc. and been able to flex his muscles in other arenas of racing, there would be a-lot fewer critics of the man. He clearly is in the very top echelon of drivers. Some just have a broader resume'.

just enjoy Lewis the young lions come through the years. if he can beat them, he'll line up with Fangio.

Worth remembering, when one driver has a much better result one race it doesn't necessarily mean the other is "outclassed"; Norris was much quicker than Ricardo this time, however it isn't easy for fans to understand that small differences in the car can make a big difference during a race. You don't get to see that stuff in detail.
For example, not long ago when Botass had a much better weekend than LH, crazy comments come up here such as "Botass new No.1!" -- try not to lose sight of the big picture, there's more to this sport than that

lewis drives one lap less than others and he take 2nd place..if that is not luck what is?surely it is not talent
