RaceRoom Releases WTCR 2022 Pack

WTCR22_key_visual.jpg
KW Studios is not stopping the droves of new content coming regularly to RaceRoom Racing Experience. Today's release sees the anticipated WTCR 2022 charge the grid.

The new pack features all new liveries from the IRL WTCR racing series in 2022. If you are missing WTCR from the previous years, you can also buy yourself all of the following vehicles now:
  • HYUNDAI ELANTRA TCR 2022
  • HONDA CIVIC TCR
  • CUPRA LEON COMPETICIÓN
  • AUDI RS 3 LMS 2021
  • LYNK & CO 03 TCR
All these touring cars are sporting multiple liveries according to their real-life outings.

For owners of all these beautiful tourers, you only need to spend 400 vRP or about 3,99€ for this entire pack. If you do not own anything, you will be looking at 1899 vRP or 18,95€.

What is Next for RaceRoom?

After this release, next up should be the DTM 2022 pack. However, it would be surprising if that includes any new cars. Even though, the BMW M4 GT3 and Lamborghini Huracán GT3 are still missing from the racing simulator.

Furthermore, the leaked trucks pack from the previous FR X-22 update should be upcoming at some point. We don't know when that would be, however.

The final piece of content many are waiting for is the update for Zandvoort, which was teased during the FR X-22 campaign as well.

The release point for any of these remains to be seen, however.

Nice, but I have stopped buying something after the WTCR 2019 pack....this sim has not the standard features for me.
For the fans or with a old PC, it's probably nice.
ACC, rFactor 2 ans AMS2 are too strong for Raceroom.
With the soon 4090 and i9 13900K, it's not for Raceroom I buy a new PC, but for AMS2, ACC and rFactor 2.

It also seem they also did AI for good... I mean the fastest drivers in the championships are well represented when playing offline, unlike some older WTCC mods or the DTM 2021 where all Audi drivers seems to have the skills of Latifi

The WTCR 2022 Pack is a nice addition.

But this two points are my highlight:

- Added the Sabine Schmitz Kurve sign.

  • Norisring - Updated to 2022 specs, updated S/F bridge, added new signs (marshall posts, traffic signs, WWII info boards and more), added new lights, normal maps for terrain and road, added some and moved some walls, updated textures, updated track surface (bumps, lines, manhole covers, bricks and more), updated audience and vegetation

Thanks KW Studios!

Instant buy for me. Even if I already own all the previous WTCR cars. With the price of a coffee (since I already own the 2021 WTCR ) I like to support the devs for their continuos work, not only in terms of car skins, but also pushing graphical track updates and improvements to Raceroom.

Great shots M D Gourley! Picking a different time of day each time makes Raceroom appear in a new light. I had a blast yesterday racing the updated Nordschleife too. In combination with this little modification I am more than satisfied with the looks of this sim. Too bad most ranked races are set up at noon / afternoon ingame racetime, so most players miss the glory.

I am looking forward to race one of these WTCR 2022 cars in Round 2 of the Ranked Championship this Thursday as well as in the upcoming competition that has been teased on Twitter.

An other nice update to R3E, plus some new content, 2022 WTCR with accurate skin. With the ability to set up championships, looks like a nice proposition to many SIM enthusiast.
RW is to be commanded for keeping this title relevant, always improving it, update after update. Yet an other example, with Kunos and Reiza on how it should be done.
Almost feel like we have to support their efforts to bring us a better experience by buying the DLC, even if not really interested in the content
Thank you RW.

Is it true that Race Room is planning to release a "Racing Hatchbacks" pack that will feature the AMC Pacer, AMC Gremlin, and Ford Pinto?

The bloody AI have super powers in raceroom. Lean on them slightly and they gain about 50mph and drive past you like they have 100bhp more than you
