Sector 3 pushed a new update to their sim racing title RaceRoom Racing Experience. Amongst several AI and camera adjustments, 3 long-awaited vehicles have finally made it into the GTR 3 class.

The Added Vehicles

Cars, which have previously only existed in other classes, have been added to the general GTR 3 class of RaceRoom.

The first of which, RaceRoom's new poster boy, is the Ferrari 488 EVO. previously only in the DTM 2021 class, it can now also be used in generic GTR 3 races. 14 new liveries are accessible as DLC now.

Surprisingly, the long-awaited Bentley Continental GT3 EVO received a similar treatment. Having only been accessible in the ADAC 2020 series, the British boat now finds its place within the other GTR 3's. 10 new liveries are purchasable here.

Finally, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 2020 EVO was also made available for the general public. Previously, it only existed in DTM 2021 and ADAC 2020 classes, however, 9 liveries are now available in GTR 3.

Idiotic pricing methodology - you have to pay for "another" class.
I don't mind paying for the livery at all - the developers spent time on it. But paying for another icon is nonsense. It would be better to let the original class cost more by those 2 bucks.

I don't even want to say that some of the liveries are fictional.

Raceroom, wake up.

it's just 2.35 euros for me to update the GT3 pack with all the new liveries because I already have the ADAC and the DTM pack. That's not too bad is it?

I am not seeing any upgrade price. GT3 just shows as "owned" for me and the Mercedes, Ferrari and Bentley all show a $2 charge for me. $6 for 3 liveries is ridiculous.
ah... I get it.. I once bought the all-in-one-pack so technically I haven't bought the GT3 pack yet.... :/

Well I bought it.

Kinda funny this thread - if this was iRacing then everybody would be jumping on the head of the complainer, but because it’s RaceRoom it’s ok to dump on it despite everything, including this car, being a lot better value than anything offered by iRacing.

Sim racers are getting weirder - I had one on a you tube comment that told me that because ACC was a serious e-sports sim, that I shouldn’t be driving it for pleasure - like WTF.

Hard to explain, I think that people get taught and probably addicted to fight for certain causes, while at the same time fight against other causes only for not being used to them, without having a feel for the real scale and size for things.

In the sim racing world, I noticed some people shame and fight a sim for charging 2 dollars while they pay 2 thousands for other sims. I am not stating any opinion here, neither pro nor against any business model, (I myself am critical towards Sector 3 and I expect much more from them in 2022, if you ask me), but hey people, how about some consistency?!
