Reiza Celebrates 11-Year Partnership Anniversary With Stock Car

Reiza Anniversary with Stock Car.jpg
Reiza Studios is celebrating the 11th anniversary of their partnership with the Stock Car Pro race series, which has spanned several titles.

Many in the sim racing community have followed the growth of Reiza Studios over the past decade. From their early days as an unknown niche racing game developer to partnering with top level auto manufacturers and race tracks, Reiza has shown impressive growth and earned praise from many sim racers.

Along the way, Reiza has held onto many elements of its origins, including the Stock Car series, which offers fans high-level tin top racing action.

Reiza's partnership with the series goes back to 2011's Game Stock Car, which was succeeded by 2013's Stock Car Extreme and more recently the two Automobilista titles.

Reiza has also done well in staying on top of the circuits that host Stock Car racing, and has given fans a chance to drive the cars at less popular circuits such as Santa Cruz do Sul, Velo Cittá, and Goiânia.

Have you had a chance to drive the Stock Cars in any of Reiza's titles? Which is your favourite? Let us know in the comments below.

I am not the biggest fan of this type, but I had some fun with them, mostly in AMS1. What makes me happier with this partnership is that alongside the Stock cars came the Brazilian tracks and Brazilian prototypes, and with those cars I had many hours racing in AMS1 and AMS2.

But I have to say, they work a bit better in AMS1. Reiza could celebrate this anniversary fixing the AI fueling/refueling in AMS2, which would make those cars more enjoyable :D

A great way to celebrate by releasing v1.4 of AMS2 with its much improved tyre model and some left turning tracks.

Stock Cars are great but really not my cup of tea. South American tracks though are some of the best hidden gems in motorsport :thumbsup:

I'm getting more fun out of the behaviour lately. For while is had the feeling handling was never going to be good. But lately had some really awesome sessions in various cars. Love their 2022 Formula car.
Just need more grand tracks for these downforce monsters.

Love the stockcars, making them go around some of the brazilian corners is almost art.

These cars are one of those things that could have their own standalone game and still be worth a purchase. They aren't easy drives but I love them.

D
First time at Stock Car Extreme I was like WUT is this. Then I got Formula Truck 2013 and I was like 'Reeeeeeeee, into the grass'. Then AMS 1 and finally AMS 2. 10 years of Reiza and they improved a lot. Step by step, year by year. Keep it up! 15 year mark to go! I think this is one of my favourite studio's in the gamingscene.

The new stock cars are fantastic. Hardly much of anything else since i bought the game.

Congrats to Reiza. These stock cars are the best cars they have done.
They feel great to drive and give a lot of immersion. I love them.

By the way, it's already August. Any news on the 1.4 update scheduled
for the end on July? I'm away from home and haven't checked anything lately.

I like the fact that in VR you are sitting far back in the car just like you do irl. These cars can almost classify as mid engine and it is nice to see that Reiza includes these small details in the sim.

From what I could see on the official forum they will release 1.4.0 in the end of August.
A statement should come in the next days.

Still missing Floripa from Ams1, my favourite track, and Peugeot from stock car, great games from Reiza
I don't know if they intend to put this track on AMS2, because in fact this track doesn't even exist in real life, but let's wait.

I have most of the PC based racing games, and I use them all for car track/combos that no one else has. And so, I play AMS2 mostly for the Brazilian tracks, and their stock cars. I quite enjoy the handling and the change of pace with all the South American tracks. And since the physics update, I find myself playing it more and more for other car/track combos as well. keep up the good work Reiza, and thanks for all the fun.
