Check out the Demo section - I tried Race League an arcade racer with a lot of potential it's still very rough especially the AI my F1 car gets trashed in seconds. Make your own tracks is the highlight.

Wish for a game where we can create our own cars and play it with a true simulation physics. Like Automation + BeamNG, but really good. Or anyone knows any existing title that do it?

Will try this one, because track design is cool too.

Cheers!

Got WRC 10 in the sale because.... well because... I've already got everything else.

I'm buying ams2 base version only. I've read that it's fbb physic and handling is now top quality and days of pc2 shadow looming over ams2 are over.

If I like the base version then I'll buy the season pass in summer sale.

AMS2 is the only sim I'm playing.

Still have it's flaws, but what sim doesn't?

Took this opportunity to get the AMS2 season pass 2020-2022. It's currently 20$ off and includes all dlc to this point. Seems a great value to me with all the included tracks / cars. On top of that I would like to support Reiza for the tremendous amount of work they continue to put into this game. I absolutely love the current formula car they just released but it's also a blast wheel banging in some stock cars. Pair that with my new reverb G2 and 3080ti and I am a happy man .

I really want to like Automobilista 2, but I'm finding myself binning it nearly every time I go out. Haven't finished a single three-lap race without an unforced error or a *very* forced error. Considering I'm not that egregiously horrid at simulators, and did pretty okay with PCARS 2 on the very same engine, I'm wondering what the heck's going on there. It also tends to crash whenever I try to load SteamVR, and keeps deleting my custom championships every time I make them.

I was very ready to go into this sale and immediately slap $72 down for the Season Pass (don't forget to get it as part of the bundle with the base game, even if you already have the base game, to save a bit more!), but if I can hardly get the racing part of the racing to work without getting bodied... I'm just not sure.

I too was having issues with spinning and it turns out my wheel rotation was out of sync. I had a manual 360 degree set on my DD1 but AMS was using something different which resulted in some rather erratic steering behavior. I ended up running a new manual calibration and set it to the correct rotation and all was better. Perhaps this could be your problem?

No doubt iRacing has really high quality online racing, but I can't wait for another title to come usurp the throne. Look I get it, they go out and laser-scan every pebble on the track but if I'm honest, most of us on simulators would have been happy with a well-done track even if it isn't laser scanned, as long as the car physics are good enough. If another title comes out that does what iRacing does for online racing without the ridiculous pricing model, I wouldn't mind compromising on a few things.
There is RaceRoom for example, which offers great ranked racing system, without a need for a subscription (and content can be bought for much less than iRacing). Yet for some reason the ranked racing participation(especially outside of rookies) is way less than in iRacing. Same is for AC and the free SimRacingSystem, which was much more popular couple years ago.
Unfortunately to play iRacing you must be prepared to spend $300+ on content alone first two years. After that main cost would be the subscription.

It could be! I hadn't even thought of that, since I hadn't had the same issues on PCARS 2 and figured "eh, same engine, should be the same". I'll have to give it a look; thanks!
