Racing and flight sim cockpit manufacturer Next Level Racing has revealed their newest offering, the Motion Plus Platform.
Next Level Racing is expanding its offerings to include a new motion system, known as the Motion Plus Platform. The new system is designed to complement their Elite series of products and offers 2DOF or 3DOF depending on the number of units used.
Each Motion Plus unit comes with one motion module to mount at either the front or rear of the cockpit, and one pivot bar to allow the opposite end to move freely. Using one unit allows the user to experience pitch and roll effects, and adding a second unit will allow pitch, roll and heave.
A video posted to the official Next Level Racing YouTube channel shows a dual module setup in action, complemented by the F GT Elite cockpit and a Motion Platform V3.
The Motion Plus sits almost entirely under the existing footprint of the rig, therefor not increasing the amount of floor space needed to add motion to an existing setup. The Next Level Racing Motion Plus with one motion module and one pivot bar is listed for $3,499 USD on the Next Level Racing website.
