TT Circuit Assen Comes to RaceRoom

A new track, TT Circuit Assen, has come to RaceRoom Racing Experience.

The Netherlands' Cathedral of Speed, TT Circuit Assen, has been released to RaceRoom Racing Experience.

Home to both motorbike and car racing, the track is a good place for RaceRoom fans to take cars like the Formula RaceRoom 4, DTM, and even GT3 cars. The GP layout measures just under 3 miles or 4.5 kilometers in length, and offers a mix of both fast and slow corners. Sector 3 has also included a shorter North layout, and a Motorcycle layout that is a slightly modified version of the GP layout.

The Grand Prix lap starts out with a series of progressively slower corners, then opens up to let the car stretch its legs. Corners 6 through 9 slow the car again as you approach the southernmost part of the track, and then 10 and 11 turn you back toward the paddock area. Turns 12 through 14 are taken a very high speeds, before 15 slows you to enter the chicane of 16 through 18, which precedes the start/finish straight.

It's a fast, fun, and challenging circuit. Wide enough to allow plenty of passing if you're racing, and filled with enough rapidly sequential corners to make hotlapping an equally entertaining venture.

TT Circuit Assen is available now for RaceRoom Racing Experience. Be sure to share your thoughts on the circuit in the comments below.

I still not understand, why RR3 have so few good US/CA or South American tracks but they have this chinese crap track and some EU tracks that are not worth the effort.

I have no problems with the tracks in the sim. Of course, I would want to see some more well-known US tracks in RaceRoom, but I don't take offence with what is on offer.

As for Assen, this track is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. This is definitely a welcome addition in my book.

The chinese tracks are part of our partnership with WTCR, it's not like we decided to make them because we like them ;)

Also, a lot of international races are happening there, with all kind of series.

They're quite interesting if you take some time to discover them :)

About US/CA/SA tracks, we like them too and we didn't forget about them, it's just that it often takes more time to finalize agreements for more famous racetracks like these ;)

These tracks are what make r3e stand out from other games imho. Thats the beauty of sim racing. You dont like one aspect of one, you can just keep it moving and play the one that has what you like. And this game is Free. you you lose absolutely nothing. You dont like a track/car, Dont buy it..

So are there any possibilities to see more urban tracks in Raceroom like Vila Real or Pau? :)

Pau would be a no brainer seeing how it was a track included with Race 07.
Like AMS is the sim for South America tracks, Raceroom is the sim for Nordic tracks plus other lesser know gems like Most, Bilster Berg, etc,, developer tracks you won't find in any other game.

As far as tracks from North America, they have a pretty good choice of them as well, 8 in total. but I must admit I'd really like to see Sebring, Road Atlanta and Mosport some day.

Assen is a great and welcome addition.

I love the choice of tracks in RRE. I'm tired of playing the same tracks on different sims. AMS2 and RRE have the best tracks. Despite being an amazing track to drive, TT Assen badly needs optimization at this time. The pit and start line areas makes the FPS drop drastically, even on a RTX 3090!!
