Looks like they're committed to improving the game, which is nice. I do hope that along with the "headline grabbing" content, the updates also fix the various other issues that have gone unmentioned. For example, the inconsistent, unaware, dive-bombing AI is the biggest issue for me personally at the moment. Big improvement required for those of us who aren't interested in multiplayer.

Whole race replays would be nice, pathetic an 8 lap race starts on lap 2 in replay mode, and get rid of the flash screen when you crash

After playing 50 somethink hour's so far of Career mode and little bit of Mutiplayer game Could of been delayed abit longer Texture pop in's , Ai all crashing for no reason , Tyre's and brake models need bit more work, acutally stopped playing until a fix come's along i've enjoyed it but these proplem's happen way to much during my play though so waiting in rafters

Someone mentioned a workaround for this. Start the race, wait for the start lights to appear, then quit to the main menu. Go straight back into the race and the AI should now crash a lot less. I've tried it in two races so far and have gone from a quarter of the grid finishing to the whole grid in both. Seems to work. I'm guessing it is to do with resetting the "learning" AI or something.

As said in the other thread I hope they fix the AI balancing. Right now it's awful, I started my Moto2 career at 92, Qatar 1 and 2 went fine, then in every other race I needed to do a lot of tests because every track has a different AI level, so one track is 85, another one is 78 and so on.
It's frustrating, I spend most of the time finding the right AI difficulty. Sometimes they're too weak, sometimes they're too strong.

And add the freaking tyre wear to AI, every year is the same story, the player has tyre wear while AI has always fresh tyres

So we have to wait 2 months to actually play with 2021 moto 2.. I’d rather wait for a title like Codemasters’ F1 that it’s a finished product than having a new game that’s just the previous year’s apart from the MotoGP class.

I can't believe we are at this stage now with major studios. You can excuse Reiza and the like as the product was always something that was going to evolve. Games like this should be finished and done upon release.

Do you factor in your own inconsistancies on tracks? Even top racers have tracks they're awesome on and tracks they arn't so good at, I imagine the "spread" is even more pronounced amongst gamers.

I.e. if you have a track you are really good at you have the Ai set high for a good close race, then you go to a track you arn't so good at and have to reduce the ai...so on and so forth. In other words I think it's pretty damn impossible to have a base Ai setting for all tracks for a close race every race.

I remember spending years trying to tweak the AIW files of GTR2 tracks (including mod tracks) so that at 95% Ai I could have a good fight around midfield in the Lambo, even then it was VERY hit and miss in the end I gave up and adjusted ai per track in the menu.

I already thought about this, but I think I know Mugello better than Qatar, but in Qatar I raced at 92 without issues, it seems AI becomes faster race after race. At Jerez I was competitive at like 85%, then at Le Mans I thought 78% was like my sweetspot, now at Mugello they're even faster. I'm starting to think that Milestone did something wrong with the AI learning and they're learning with the player.
And iirc MGP20 had the same issues at launch, then I think they addressed it with a patch since I've been able to play with a consistent AI difficulty

I'm not a quick player, I was playing MGP20 at 90 I think and I found it consistent throughout the season, some races were good, some not, but it was "realistic", AI wasn't mega fast all of a sudden

And another big issue they must address is the major speed difference in the straights. Let the slower ia be slow round the corners or in braking, but on the straights you can’t be 20km/h faster than them.

Was about to post the same right now.
Player is too fast on straights, no matter which bike you're using.
Perhaps is there a file we can edit?

100% agree, to present things like editable controller settings on an update roadmap is just a joke.

I don’t know, the modding guys like @BIKER7202 know more about this stuff. I really hope there’s a file where you can give same power/acceleration to all the moto 3/ moto 2 bikes at least. Would make the field a lot closer as well

AI must be corrected. Right now it's a joke.

Overall, I'm happy with absolutely everything, but the AI completely destroys the game.

As far as I know that kind of thing can't be edited

fair enough, but some tracks I know and like I'm slow and crap at!! Other tracks I don't like and hardly race and I'm quick! But it does sound weird.

Every year it supposed to be the best motorcycle racing game... And every year it is a bunch of unfinished and unpolished ideas. As already someone wrote - "Games like this should be finished and done upon release.".

I am very disappointed.

Fixed.

But unfortunately that's just the way things are... no game is ever released "finished" and bug free. We as consumers are a big part of the reason behind that. Back when the practice of releasing broken software was becoming more common, we didn't vote with our wallets. Instead we continued to snap up every game the moment it hit the retailers, something we are still doing even now. Then we jump on forums like this one to bitch and moan about it, but it's too late... moaning has precisely no affect on profits of the developer, so why should they bother changing their habits?

Until the vast majority of gamers decide to make a stand against unfinished products by not buying them, nothing will ever change. But that will never happen because the world is too full of impatient people who must have everything now now now, and think whining about it after the fact actually works.

The other alternative is to just accept the way things are and the fact they're not going to change anytime soon, and not get too pent up about it.
