Sim hardware manufacturer Fanatec has revealed multiple Black Friday deals for 2021, and revealed their newest product: the Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro for the Playstation 5.

Black Friday 2021 is coming up very soon, and as always, companies will be vying for your money with enticing deals. Fanatec has announced deals on select products which go live on November 26th, and include the most recent edition of their budget P1 wheel, a 33% discount on an existing wheel, and add-ons for their CSL pedals.

CSL Steering Wheel P1 V2
The feature deal is the second version of the P1 wheel. The P1 looks similar in form to the popular WRC wheel that Fanatec offers at the lower budget end of their product line, but without the WRC branding. At €99,95 / $99.95 (a savings of €/$20), this looks to be a perfect entry wheel for those getting started in the Fanatec ecosystem.

CSL Steering Wheel R300
Also featured in the deals is the CSL Steering Wheel R300, which combines the CSL Universal Hub with a 300mm diameter wheel. This is the biggest savings offered so far, with Fanatec taking €/$100 off the regular price and offering the R300 at €199,95 / $199.95.

CSL Pedals Load Cell Kit & CSL Pedals Tuning Kit
Two more offerings at the lower end of the price range in Fanatec's lineup are the CSL pedal upgrades currently on sale for Black Friday. The new load cell kit for the CSL pedals is on sale for €119,95 / $119.95, and takes the €79,95 / $79.95 CSL Pedals from a two-pedal set to three pedals including a load cell equipped brake pedal. You can also upgrade the pedal faces with the Fanatec CSL Pedals Tuning Kit, which will be on sale on the 26th for €34,95 / $34.95.

Lastly, a small note at the bottom of the sale page added simply "Stay tuned for a special product launch… #feelyourline". For now we can only speculate on what this might be, but be sure to check back with RD for more on this as details are revealed.

I know it's a longshot, but hoping for podium pedals with haptic feedback. I'm holding on buying the heusinkveld ultimate + pedal set because I want to keep the fanatec ecosystem for compatibility reasons.

My old comment before this article updated to Fanatec GT wheel:
The CSL Steering Wheel P1 V2 and Steering Wheel R300 both look stunning.

The new product is the Playstation 5 compatible CSL-DD... The DD Pro (IIRC). Its probably going to be a similar setup to the CSL-DD except it comes with a wheel rim designed by Polyphony Digital and a set of Fanatec's CSL pedals in the box. Before the pandemic I would guess this kit would be priced about $600 - $650. But since the pandemic, I don't know what its prices will be. I also assume there will be a higher powered version (via the boostkit 180), but the torque will be the same as the CSL-DD.

This is my best guess on what the mystery product is.

My worst guess, a set of gloves in an aluminum box. You know, for feeling things...

Well you should have a pretty good idea on the price.
CSL DD (ps version)= 350
Pedals = 80
This re released wheel (with Polyphony Digital branding) = 120

So thats a total of 550 Euro.
Don't know how that translates to dollars?

On the Fanatec forums, there was a poll a few months ago. So I'd say they waited with the ps5 version for the loadcell to be ready.

I'm with you there. We got very good wheels (or at least, you do... mine's yet to clear customs), but had I known that a round wheel without the gaudy WRC branding at 1/3 the cost was coming, there's no way I was buying it.
Hijacking the thread to say that my ClubSport RS wheel finally arrived today and to post a picture. No time to test it now but it looks nice. Build quality seems ok, this is a mid-range wheel (299 Euros + shipping). To me it is a good compromise and as a big AC road cars fan I just needed a decent round wheel to drive around LA Canyons in my virtual Ferraris and Porsches.
Had I known before that the CSL P1 V2 would be available at only 99 Euros.. well no regrets though.

They could have said " if you keeping your CSW 2.5 as a spare you won't need the boost klt "

Setting mine up this morning and notice the 2 power adaptors are the same model, same spec. etc :coffee: lol

Oh hang on DD one has 180W where CSW says nothing

Thanks for that and power cables are the same
edit: sorry yes they are different

Also someone might be interested with GT Track rig you can use 3 or 4 mounting points and the bolts from CSW ( M6 x 10mm ) work fine.

ie: The base does not come with bolts so you need 4 x M6 10mm
round hex head bolts

Nice, now lets hope GT7 physcis are getting a little bit more sim-like. Like Assetto Corsa Competizione.

But i also rather prefer a Yoke, which gives you more precision when driving.

So people complain that the bmw gt3 too expensive, but also complain that the gran turismo wheel looks too cheap like a toy. There's no pleasing some people
If you subtract the probably around 150€ of the gt7 rim from the 1399€ of the BMW gt3 rim, you get a range of 1249€ to create a product that more people find "pleasant".

Like a clubsport McLaren style wheel.
Or a clubsport replica version of the BMW m4 gt3 wheel :)

They just took a huge step back in asthetics... this looks like a toy like the new TM wheel..
The GT design is made from the Grand Tourismo company.
A real Gran Tourismo rim MUST look this ugly. :roflmao:
Thats why all this drives look the same. Maybe a bit like a cheap japanese car from the 90's
So it does not matter, from wich company its made from.

Not as ugly as I was expecting it to be. The wheelbase is fine, the steering wheel is still weird looking. $700 for everything to get you up and running? It's about $40 north of a similar setup with the CSL DD and either the WRC wheel or the Mclaren wheel. I guess the difference will be chalked up as the price of PS compatibility.

I imagine the wheel and base will eventually be sold without the clamp and pedals, at some point.

This Fanatec GT steering wheel looks much like the ones being used for the road cars rather than the proper circuit spec race cars but not saying it's bad.

Bottom line of the fanatec article:
"A standalone version of this PlayStation-compatible wheel base is also on the way, subject to Sony Interactive Entertainment’s final product approval."

I really want to get "cheap round rim better/more buttons than the uni hub". But these shifter paddles are very "meh".
Also the 5 way buttons might be too wobbly to adjust things mid race...
Let's see if the standalone ps5 base costs 100€ more too...

To anyone who has the brown leather 918 wheel this new all-black version at a lower price looks like a deal... wish I waited LMAO (purchased a couple years ago).
