Almost 15 years after its first post, our “Show us your Rig” thread has given us countless incredible images and stories, and here are 10 such images.

In January of 2007, one of the founding RaceDepartment members and front-wheel drive alien Attila Domján started a forum thread asking fellow members to share pictures of their sim rigs. Nearly 5,000 replies later, we’ve received some amazing pictures and fascinating stories. Here are 10 images from the thread that we think you’ll like.

Some great photos! Reminds me of when I first started riding motorcycles, I turned up at a biker cafe on my tiny Honda CM125c. Surrounded by folks riding really impressive machinery, I felt a little embarrassed until a guy next me pointed at my bike and said "You're still one of us". It doesn't matter what rig you have, you're one of us.

I am still just attaching my old g25 to my desk when I want to race. I'm surprised it still runs ok after all these years. It tends to smell with a lot of use.

They are not the greatest in terms of realism or sheer power, but those older Logitech wheels could last forever. I used a DFGT for almost ten years I think? And I had already bought it second hand. Regular maintenance and regreasing helped a lot I guess.

I think people should not post their normal rigs in this thread now, this is what that legendary one is for ;)

..but please keep posting oddballs :roflmao:
