RaceRoom Incident | Was it my fault? You be the judge

This is an incident at Red Bull Ring in the GT3 class which i'm curious as to how i could have handled it better. At the time i thought it was unfair on his part but maybe i was wrong. Please leave your thoughts in the comments.

Just in case you are not aware the astroturf is the track limit on this part of the track, not the curb.

imo you did the right thing and i think he just misjudged the braking zone and tried to cut to minimise the chances of crashing but in doing so went over the curb and he had a wee moment. his fault but you probably could have been a bit tighter as even with full damage on you would have got much

Ah okay. Thanks for your input, I thought of pushing the issue but thought that making contact with him would have been on his left rear side causing him to slide. Oh well!

going to say a few things
    1. before the apex he had the nose in front so in theory, he has the right of line
    2. he tried to give you room, but if you watch on the slow mo his back steps out just a tiny bit and as he counters he runs wide
    3. not your fault, not his either, if I was you I would have waited either for a cut-back or a draft pass since after T1 there is a long straight.

Thanks for the input Mr C. Never knew that about the nose at the apex. I've learned for next time

there are two "rules" that I obey when it comes to passing.
    1. the one explained above
    2. if a car has the nose on my front doors I will leave it room, if it's less than that I will chop him off
