Next up in the Porsche 919 Evo hotlap series is the home of the greatest 24 hour race, Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe. Onboard view to start with, TV camera view starts at 3:11. Despite the insanity of the time this car did at the Nordschleife and Spa, I could only just get under the three minute mark with a 2:59.735, which simply isn't as outlandish as I thought it would be despite it smashing the current lap record. I suppose the fact the car simply can't exceed 375 km/h down Mulsanne Straight and the battery being close to empty for most of lap after Indianapolis hurts the potential speed, but the Porsche Curves were still a blast to get through! As a bonus I've also thrown in a lap of the track as it was in 1967 as requested by RaceDepartment user RobertGracie, which it does in 2:37.517. Battery again limits this car from a truly crazy time. Onboard for that video starts at 6:34, with the TV camera view at 9:19. I'll now aim to emulate the actual car's presentation calendar this year, so next up will be Brands Hatch, where I will aim to finish a lap in under 60 seconds!
