How would it be if you extract the * .rar file before?

Has anyone tried this mod? If yes how do you like it? (I downloaded it as it looks awesome but I cannot test until this weekend)

it is almost perfect but shimmering from rear of cars is pretty annoying even at 4k with maxed settings .

Hi all, new to Assetto Corsa and I've been trying to find the best set of Trans Am Series cars. I just got a set last night, but when I selected the car, then a track, hit start it seems to try to load the car then it comes right back to the selection screen. I assume there is a comparability issue, maybe the .rar car pack is an older version. Any solutions? Does anyone have a good link to these Trans Am cars that work with the latest AC version? Thanks

I believe I have. I extracted the files straight to the Cars folder, but as it's done to me before it put them one path too deep (if that makes sense), so I cut all the individual car folders and pasted them back to the main Cars folder. I did notice that these TA Series car files are missing a file that all the cars that came with AC, I believe it was a "data.acd" file. I tried copying one into the 70 Camaro and it made it worse, wouldn't even try to load. Any ideas?

2stains. I looked closer and the TA Series cars have a data folder with .ini , .lut .rto files and no data.acd file. A car that came with the game has no data folder but has the .acd. I looked through every folder, and there are other differences but nothing stands out like the data deal. Here's the path I used D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\Common\assettocorsa\content\cars\acvr_AMC_javelin"

I didn't and haven't looked at any of the files, I just download, extract and play. When things like that happen to me i just delete the file, verify in Steam, redownload and install. Just to make sure all if correct. Sucks in this case due to size of download.
You need to get this sorted because it is right up there with the best mods for AC.
    Good luck
