Today I was wondering how realistic sim drive, as opposed to sim racing, can be from an observer inside and outside the cockpit in a sim. The MX5 ND is a suitable car to test this and, what better road than, LA Canyons the perfect track. This is not a extremely exciting video. Quite boring actually. But, focusing on the sense of speed, the pace of the car, the driving, ... Does it look realistic? From the driving experience, I felt initially a bit outside my comfort zone. The right foot uneasy. But, giving it a little bit of time, I got into normal driving mode (sort of). And it felt quite real. It was a little bit faster than speed limits suggest, but (at least in a sim) it is quite hard going slower on that combo. Maybe not a video to necessarily enjoy, but (for me) and interesting test. All the best.
