Hi @SOLO59. Can I please ask what monitor/graphics card you are using and the frame rates you are getting. I’m looking to upgrade my system and screens and can’t decide between an untrawide or triple screens.

Yea no problem:)

Monitor: Acer ei491cr pbmiiipx 49 inch curved ultra wide. 3840x1080p res, 32:9 aspect ratio, 120hz, freesync2. It does do 4k native at 60 fps.

GPU: AMD Radeon Sapphire 580

Average FPS in sims and games I currently play. All in game graphics set to low. FPS captured by AMD's software. Depending on hot lapping or full grids. I get low 9 to 14ms input lag.
ASSETTO CORSA 1: 78fps
RACE ROOM: Can't remember exactly, approx 110fps
RFACTOR 2: 111fps
I have Automobilista installed but haven't tried it yet. I plan to hopefully this week and can let you know if you want. Same game engine as Project Cars 2 and my old 34 inch ultrawide monitor ran solid at my monitors max refresh rate of 75fps with freesync and my old AMD Sapphire 380x GPU.

I wanted a cheap monitor this size, this is great for the price. But if you have the budget, I'd go for something better.
However, this monitor handles vsync well paired with AMD's "anti lag." I never used vsync cause of lag, but not noticable at all on this monitor. I'm still very happy with it. I think 60fps is about 16ms input lag. I'm being 12ms average. So can't really complain.

My trackir eliminates the need for triples though for me. But if trackir is not for you, maybe x2 27 inch ultrawide monitors on the sides of a 49 inch? And use that new bezle-free thing they have out now that hides bezels and looks really good.
