In terms of physics this mod makes the game to feel like driving a car.
The original driving experience is garbage and it's quite impressive how this mod changes the game.

it doesn't transform it into a real simulator! RBR with NGP7 physics or AC are far away.
But it's true that it has similarities with dirt 2.0.

Anyway, the physics are good enought to enjoy the game and the amazing stages.

The big con for me os that the torque reduction amke the cars very lazy in the harpins, they are almost not able to wheel in 2nd gear in snow, what is completly unreal.

Overall, thumbs up!

I love this mod so much. The game feels extremely good and very realistic. It makes it much harder to beat the times, but it's a feasible challenge if you apply yourself to .

Great mod, man. Thanks. The game looks much better now.

I have a question though. I play the game with a keyboard and the default handling is just fine for me. Is it possible to implement the physics of WRC 8 into WRC 9? As those in WRC 9 are really bad for keyboards.

Played a lot with this mod. It's awesome. Anyway...
My game version is now 1.6.9. when I download it again.
Is there anyway to go back to working version?

Using Epic Games Version

I have used this mod and when it works, it's great. However, most of the time when I try and start the game it either immediately crashes the game, or when it does start it crashes as soon as I push the controller button

I have the correct version of the game compatible with the mod(s)

I cannot install it. I use the steam version, is there a fix I can use to make it work? I really want to try this mod.

The mod is amazing. The graphics setting is really good. The only thing I have found to improve is the engine max torque because the gravity modded, slows down cars too much. in the "dyna / car" folder I modified the various files that had the engine max torque increasing this value by 100 more than the current value.
The speed is now proportionate to the grip of the cars, and it is very very real. if you can try this change

Masterful, I salute you brother, the sim community and myself are eternally grateful for your hard work. I've been dreaming of experiencing modern WRC cars but with realistic physics and handling, a simulation, not just a fun game, and I have to say I have found it. I'm still experimenting with the grip levels, and I am curious as to what setup you run yourself? Is there any chance you could post your preferences as you have the most comprehensive grasp on the subject? Also, do you plan on working on the upcoming WRC 9 game as well?

This is what WRC 8 should have been. Maybe a tad bit too much lateral grip, but I am still messing with grip multipliers and such to get it perfect. Just the fact that the cars are stable and predictable is a huge boost in its own right.

Hex, one question I do have; I am not seeing the a/b/c selection for grip level when I run the dynamics mod. I am sure I am just missing it somewhere. And thanks for this amazing piece of work! Cheers!

Thanks for the review. Grips level A B C are for older versions of the mod, prior to v10. For v10 I gave the end user many levels of grip to choose from instead of only 3

There are 2 parts to the installer. 1st part is for graphics and 2nd part is for physics, there should also be shortcuts on the desktop to each part.
