This is a career mode for vintage drivers that runs in Excel. Inspired by NeoFly for MS Flight Simulator, this tool generates 5 random rides that you can accept, starting with the lowest levels of vintage racing. As you build up your experience, you move into faster cars and more famous tracks.
Stats are tracked along the way, and there is a Hall of Fame records when you've maxed out the XP. The length is somewhere in the middle so that you could replay if you wanted and make different car choices. Maybe you want to be all Ferrari all the time, maybe do as much open wheel as you can.
After you decide which race to do, you create the event in PC2. Run the event and enter your result in the spreadsheet using the dropdown selector. Click Log Result and you will be assessed if you qualify for license upgrade and 5 new opportunities will be generated.
Ideally, this would be better if it were like NeoFly and it integrated into the game, possibly setting up the event and returning the results. I'd settle for this being a smartphone app that you could have with the game open. But right now its a 2nd screen app.
I've made a similar tool for AMS2, and I'm working on an advanced version for PC2, RRRE or AMS 2 that allows you to focus on disciplines. This version is my favorite since I think the PC2 vintage content is so compelling, and it gives me a reason and format to test out so much of this good stuff.

That being said, I've probably maxed out on PC2. I'm trying to decide whether to do RaceRoom or AMS2 next. With PC2, I wanted a way to be forced to try all the great content and in multiclass where appropriate. With the others, I may hone in on key series and do more schedule based event planning. Who knows, possibly buying cars and scheduling series, like you ask. Taking feedback now. Too many ideas floating around.
