Usable samples for this car were extremely hard to find. The 1998 V8 version was much easier to find, but footage of the V12 1997 version is almost non existent. So, the onboards are 100% the real car, but the external sounds are a mixture of different cars and engines, including a road going CLK GTR, to try to recreate the same external sounds as shown in this video

Sounds much better than the original URD, but may I suggest an improvement?
On the first video you posted, somewhere at the 0:32-0:33 mark you can clearly hear the reservations in intake manifold, like the echoing sounds. The are present in your mod, but only when you go under the bridge or in tunnels. Maybe it’s possible to make them more pronounced, so we can hear this “intake drone” like on the video?

With the CLK-GTR being my favorite car you have my huge thanks, also i think the only way to improve is to get that high end rasp and maybe with a little tweaking you you could make the sound for the road going model which has a prominent guttural growl in low and mid rpm range, thank you so much again, keep up the awesome work.

An other excellent sound mod for a URD car. My compliments!

Could you please take a look at the ASRFormula car sounds? Their cars look amazing, handling is amazing, but the sounds are terrible. They all sound like you put the volume to high and the sound is getting all distorted. I think you could do wonders with these cars....

Excellent work, as always mate! Getting back on the wheel of this car with this new engine sound.

PS: Is there any chance on having a 4.2L V8 NA Gibson engine sound mod? (2017 spec LMP2) I would love to hear that cars properly, and you're the best man!
