Toyota Celica ST185 - Castrol 4K + 8K Skins
Over 30 hours has gone into complete revamping the Castrol skins for the Toyota Celica ST185 in a lossless 8K resolution to bring you the highest quality recreation of the original car possible. If there is enough support I'll continue working on the pack and finish it with 2 more skins.

Really nice, but if you do more skins for new cars, please offer 2K versions. This however is nice upgrade for screenshots or single car rally stage, but while racing other cars I prefer 2K because of the better FPS.

The default version in the game is the 2k version. This is simply a redone version of the original in a higher resolution for better graphical fidelity. Although, I would suggest at least sticking with the 4k version, because the hood cam has really low resolution textures when you use it.

Thanks for the explanation below, I wasn't being critical, I just wanted to know. I have just raced yours and kunos side by side and flicked between versions during replay. The 4k one is far superior up close. Excellent work and a real eye opener.

Ok it looks good but what exactly did you do apart from re-sizing the original texture and pasting it on to the template? The lines are identical. This would take 2 minutes, not all night. Please explain.

Actually, you have to recreate every single resource in the texture from scratch in a higher resolution. If you don't do this, it'll just upscale the texture and make it look like crap and have a large file size without any change. If you zoom in on a 2k default texture, or drive in hood-cam, the lines are really pixelated and look terrible. A lot of work goes into font finding, logo creation, and just painting the skin in photoshop. In a better world this would take 2 minutes, but it sadly doesn't work that way. That's why it took all night.
