Spotter 1.2.1

App adds a spotter warning you about nearby cars

  1. AC 1.3 compatibility

    - 32-bit and 64-bit compatible
    - change to the slow/stopped algorithms to make the app shut up when you're in the pits

  2. Volume + HMD fixes

    Update notes:
    - switched from winsound to pyfmodex audio library
-- support for more audio encodings (PCM, mp3, Vorbis, etc.)
-- added volume control in app
    - switched audio to play even when app is hidden (to allow it to work on Oculus Rift)

This update was prompted by rafffel on the AC forums - he wrote an audio notifications app for use with the Oculus Rift, and pointed out the ways the Spotter app is inadequate for that, so I've improved it. No real functionality changes, just better...

  3. More things work, more modder friendly... 1.0

  4. Bugs, bugs, bugs

Fixing some bugs that made it unreliable on restarts, race weekends, etc.

Modified 'slow'/'stop' code so it says if they're to the left or right of the track (if it's "ahead" then they're going to be on your racing line)

Added 'clear' notification, though so far it's only in the 'Wattie' audio.

Added 'font size' adjustment. Will be more in that vein soon.

  5. Incl. missing library

0.3 zip was missing some files, if you had 0.2 you've already got them.
  6. Configurability

You can now select audio/text options from ingame, as well as a couple minor settings on how the app displays. Other bugfixes in when messages are displayed too.

Second sound set thanks to Radfahrer over on the AC forums.
