der "vader-landia" ("father-land")...

"Der Feuhrer" was at least right about that. The 'PINOCCHIO' rolling hills of der Bavaria...

This section of the Nordershleife (or whatever the hell it's called) circuit is extremely well re-created by the modders. The graphical quality and detail throughout the course -- the pitlane, road textures, and surrounding alpine country side -- is very well done.

This is a fairly fast and very long circuit which primarily consists of somewhat varied high and medium speed turns...other are slower speed. The racing is somewhat challenging: You feel that you can 'floor' the accelerator in parts; however trying to get your speed 'just right' (not too fast nor too slow), navigating around much of the course is extremely precarious, challenging, but 'do-able.'

Racing this track in an F1 car, in particular, is quite exhilarating. The replay views throughout this track are unique and great and perfectly capture the fast-paced racing experience and elevation change of the track.
