Grand Prix Karting Indianapolis
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is the largest sports venue in the world and the home of the Indianapolis 500. Now we have made it smaller into the size of an outdoor karting track in five different layouts;

• Brickyard (counter clockwise oval used for the Indy 500) (33 cars on the grid)
• Indy GP (clockwise infield road coarse used for the IndyCar series) (26 cars on the grid)
• Moto GP (counter clockwise infield road coarse used for Moto GP) (26 cars on the grid)
• F1 GP (clockwise infield road coarse used for Formula One) (26 cars on the grid)
• Dirt oval (8 cars on the grid)

Grand Prix Karting
Grand Prix Karting tracks are F1 tracks with the layout of the original F1 track but the size, look and feel of real world karttracks. No big runoff areas, but modern wide kerbs, pit not on the infield but on the outside of the track, not many grand stands but a pitbuilding which is also a grandstand. These tracks are not a resized conversion of existing tracks but scratch build. Not laser scanned (because they are fiction) but handmade, which was a bit of a challenge with some tracks with a lot of elevation in the track and the terrain surrounding the track.

AI
It is hard to get good AI in rFactor on small tracks like Grand Prix Karting tracks. With most GPK tracks you will set the AI to 120% to have a little resistance. The AI on the Brickyard is of a different order. When set to 100%, it is quite a challenge to beat them. When set to 101% or more it is probably impossible to beat them. And the AI is driving very close to eachother on the Brickyard, which will give you a nice oval racing feeling.
