Grand Prix Karting Abu Dhabi
The last Formula One GP in 2020 was at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. This is the Grand Prix Karting version of the Yas Marina Circuit. It has 5 different layouts, with 3 different pits, almost all buildings from the real track inluding the harbor with yachts, the famous hotel with track view and Ferrari World. The 3 pits are on the same location as on the real track, including the pit exit tunnel. There are working streetlights, so you can drive day and night with working day to night transition. With a 10 minutes race, set the start time to 2:00 PM (14:00) and the time scale to 45 or 60 to get the lights on after 5 minutes.

Grand Prix Karting
Grand Prix Karting tracks are F1 tracks with the layout of the original F1 track but the size, look and feel of real world karttracks. No big runoff areas, but modern wide kerbs, pit not on the infield but on the outside of the track, not many grand stands but a pitbuilding which is also a grandstand. These tracks are not a resized conversion of existing tracks but scratch build. Not laser scanned (because they are fiction) but handmade, which was a bit of a challenge with some tracks with a lot of elevation in the track and the terrain surrounding the track.

The Grand Prix Karting Abu Dhabi Yas Marina circuit is a bit different from all other Grand Prix Karting tracks. The others are somewhat closer to a regular outdoor karting track and a bit less to the original F1 circuits, but the Abu Dhabi track is much closer to the original F1 track.

The rFactor GPK tracks are dedicated for karting and the Assetto Corsa GPK tracks are dedicated for Formula Student.
